My interview experience with GOOGLE HYDERABAD
In this post I’ll be sharing my interview experience with
Google Hyderabad. It was a wonderful experience to attend for an Interview at Google
Hyderabad. Before I attended the interview, I started collecting photos from
Facebook. I was admiring all the pictures of Google Hyderabad. I attended for
the analyst designation. First, find out where they are conducting walk-ins for
Google Hyderabad. Go to the particular consultancy along with your resume.
Please highlight your personal skills and your personal hobbies correctly.
Skills which they check are mainly your communication skills, logical and
analytical skills. You are supposed to prepare geography which will be informed
to you by the HR after completion of your first-round.
There were five rounds in total. The process for which they
were recruiting was with the GT process.
Round one: JAM
The first round was jam. It’s a Just a minute session. You’re free to
talk about any topic. First, the HR collected all the resumes .It was like you will
be given a chance to speak on a topic on your own. For few people, the HR
called out names from the resumes and asked them to speak on the following
topics: Childhood memories, women empowerment, corruption in India,
Indian culture versus Western culture, Indian education system versus Western
education system. After round one was completed, the HR called out the names
of the selected candidates immediately. In this round, they just test your
fluency and communication skills. Its better you go prepared with any topic of
your interest. I spoke about my favorite book.
Round two: HR round
- Tell me about yourself.
- Continents on the equator.
- Tropic of Cancer.
- Your future plans.
- Why should I hire you?
The result was told immediately. I was asked to take the
test.
Round three: written test
The test contained 10 questions from geography, 10 questions
regarding Internet technologies, five questions from figure series, five
questions like paragraph and conclusions, and at last there was essay writing and
the topics were green revolution/Indian culture versus foreign culture/
corruption in India.
Round four: Orientation round
In this round, the HR will help you how to crack the final
HR round at Google. She asked me to prepare about Google products with a brief
description, Difference between Google maps and Google Earth, Similarities
between Google maps and Google Earth, history of Google, what you know about
Google, services provided by Google,
Geography questions related to continents on the earth,
oceans, seas and rivers, islands, mountains, deserts, cities, etc
Geography questions will be asked in the final HR round and
it will also be asked in the written test mentioned above.
Round five: My final HR rounded at Google Hyderabad.
- Tell me about yourself?
- I mentioned about articulation skills in my resume. She is asked me what do you mean by articulation skills?
- What you mean by positive attitude?
- What you know about Google maps?
- Are you flexible with the shifts?
- Where do you stay?
- Questions on current affairs
- Northern and Eastern states of India
- Capitals of India.
- Northeastern and South Eastern countries of the World.
- You’re asked to speak about a topic for a minute: child marriage, time management, women empowerment,
- Some Logical questions.
Finally, I cleared the final
Google HR round. I made it through Google. I was feeling very happy as Google
was one of my dream companies. Initial package will be less, but the growth is
fast. There is a six-month contract for this job. The company infrastructure
looks awesome. Google policies are very employee friendly. I really believe Google will encourage the
deserving candidates to grow. So see you at Google Hyderabad.
